Pipeline vandalism: Women barricade E-West road over wanton arrest by NPDC, Army
UGHELLI—HUNDREDS of women from Iwhre-Nene community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, yesterday, barricaded part of the Ughelli axis of the East-West express road in protest over the alleged intimidation and arrest of indigenes of the community by officials of National Petroleum Development Company, NPDC and men of the Nigerian Army's 222 Battalion, Agbarha-Otor, over allegations of pipeline vandalism in the area.
