UGHELLI—THE leadership of All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the setting up of a caretaker committee for the Delta State chapter of the party by the Senator Spanner Okpozo- led Elders and Leaders Committee, as an aberration.
The party which expressed displeasure over the issue also dissociated itself from the Elders and Leaders Committee, stating that there was no such body known and recognised by the constitution of the party.

APC, in a statement, weekend, by its National Vice Chairman (South-South) Prince Hilliard Eta, said: “There is no such body known and recognised by our constitution as “Elders and Leaders Committee” of our great party. Consequently, any gathering under the nomenclature and guise becomes an aberration and all decisions taken by such unknown creation are a nullity ab initio.”
