Lagos ex-CSO nabbed for impersonating army officer

Guilty-racked 33-year-old former Lagos Council Chief Security Officer, Umar Usman, risks three years in jail for impersonating an army officer as a Lagos court has reserved judgment for Sept. 5. Sections 77 (a) and 328 (d) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011 under which the accused was charged prescribes three years for offenders.

We used part of Katsina SURE-P funds for 2015 elections – ex-Gov Shema’s aide

Alhaji Nasiru Ingawa, a former Special Adviser on SURE-P to the former governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Ibrahim Shema, said that part of the State SURE-P funds were used for campaign for the 2015 election. Ingawa disclosed this in Katsina during cross-examination before the Katsina State Judicial Commission of Inquiry chaired by Justice Muhammad Surajo.
