SUCCESS RECIPE WITH UDEME ARCHIBONG
At the root of every reformation is a transformation. At the center of every visible change lies an invisible reaction. At the roots of your every action lies the secret of the core of your being. And the secret of the core of your being shapes your destiny.
Transformation is the product of the mind. Nothing in your life has a lasting change until your mind changes. Your mind holds the key to your life; it is the control center of your life. The outcome of your life depends on the deposits in your mind.
Just like a building left to itself without habitation will deteriorate as fast as possible or an occupied house neglected without cleaning it up will become a breeding place for all kinds of dirt and will be out of shape. Therefore, a mind that is neglected will breed all kinds of negativity and decadence and make life to be out of shape. Therefore, the transformation of your mind is the foundation of change in your life.
Transformation of the mind is not all about the mere acquiring of knowledge or the gathering of information. In fact, we are living in an age that information is abundantly available at our disposal but many people still remain in their deplorable state of life. Some people even go ahead to acquire as many educational qualification hoping that their lives will change afterwards.
There’s nothing wrong in acquiring new knowledge and enhancing your educational qualification. But the point is: it isn’t the key to real and lasting change in destiny. One can get the best of educational degree from the best institution but if one’s basic mindset is negative it will drag one down to a quality of life that is failure-ridden. If an individual is very intelligent with a highly developed skill or talent but the basic mindset is corrupt, the individual will end up as a tragic failure.
Transformation means putting off the old programmed thinking that is full of negativity which had been filed away in the subconscious mind and putting on new positive thoughts and beliefs that will birth change in the area of life you desire to be changed. It is critical to always remember that our outer world-physical world is always a manifestation of our inner world-mental world; emotional world and spiritual world. In life, the invisible creates the visible; the seed determines the fruit, and the root determines the quality of the fruit. Prosperity or poverty is a fruit; marital bliss or crises is a fruit; health or sickness is a fruit etc.
Therefore, if we want to change the fruits or results of our lives we must get to the root which is our inner world. Our inner world has its base in our mind. Take for instance, if an individual is struggling financially or constantly fighting with spouse, attending wealth seminars or marriage seminars may not yield the desired change if the basic mindset that had held the individual bound is not changed.
To effectively deal with the old programming of your mind you must take absolute responsibility for your life. You can write it on the table of your heart: the blame game is the loser’s game. The blame game only positions one in the failure lane of life. Never play it. Are you down on your finances, marriage, career, health, relationships, emotionally then take ownership of it. Until you take responsibility or ownership of your life, your life will be out of control. And until you take control of your life you can never change your life.
You must recognize how you think and believe. You must identify those programmed thoughts that are keeping you down. You can ask yourself; what are my thoughts and beliefs about the way I perceive life; work; finances; relationships, health etc. Take for instance if you have bought into the popular belief that being sick “periodically” is a normal way of life.
Then you can never experience perfect health permanently. If you believe that rich people are greedy; you can’t be rich and spiritual; not everyone can be rich or there is never enough etc then you are bound for a life of financial struggle no matter how hard you work. Do you have a positive or negative outlook on life? How do you approach your work?
Do you believe in yourself or do you doubt yourself and your abilities? How do you handle finances? Are you poverty conscious or wealth conscious? What habits do you engage in or what beliefs do you have about money that makes you struggle financially? How do you perceive and treat your spouse and children? What are your beliefs about the marriage relationship? What are your beliefs about people and your world? The questions cannot be exhausted here.
The point is you need to be sincere with yourself and engage in diligent search inwards of your basic thought patterns that had been filed in the storage cabinet of your subconscious mind. Casey Treat wisely counsels, “Rethink what you believe is right and what you assume is the way to handle life. Rethink those concepts for living which you developed growing up. If you don’t begin to rethink some of your concepts, you will continue to live and make decisions based on thinking that is totally wrong”.
