By Chinonso Alozie
Owerri—The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Owerri, Rev. Cyril Okorocha, has attributed the fall in standard of values in the society to the abandonment of family responsibilities by the men.
He stated this, in a statement made available to newsmen, yesterday, at the 3rd All Anglican Men’s Association Conference, at Obazu Mbieri, Mbaitoli Local Government Area in Imo State.
Rev. Okorocha said that most of the abnormalities happening in the society was due to neglect of Christian fathers in the process of child up-bringing in the way of honesty, godliness and accountability.
He said that these core values of mankind had not been given attention as they were supposed to, in order to prepare the younger ones on how to build a better society.
