PORT HARCOURT—The bail application filed by a chieftain of All Progressives Congress,  Ojukaye Flag-Amachree at the Appeal Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Monday,  suffered a major set back as it could not be entertained.

A clerk of the court announced that hearing on the matter had to be adjourned following a fresh motion filed by wife of late Smart Soberekon, challenging the composition of a special panel to hear the bail application of the accused by President of the Appeal Court.

Ojukaye is standing trial,  for the murder of Soberekon during the 2015 general election.

The clerk said that adjourned date will be communicated via hearing notices to all counsel, adding that the adjournment was to enable parties be served and for them to file their responses.
