Owerri—A Non-Governmental Organization, Citizen Centre for Integrated Developments and Social Rights, CCIDESOR, has said that it has concluded arrangements to unveil a document containing the number of abandoned projects in Imo State, between 2010-2014.
Gov. Rochas Okorocha
The Director of CCIDESSOR, Mr. Emeke Ononamadu, stated this, yesterday, in Owerri, that the public presentation of the document will take place this week.
According to him, “we are conducting this summit to attract attention to good public projects abandoned which we hope if they are completed will improve the lives of Imo citizens. The exercise was conducted in partnership with Imo State Citizens Accountability Assemblies.
He said, “we are therefore hosting this first CSOs’ accountability summit to attract attention to motivate citizens and residents. Citizens need government help as much as government needs the help of citizens in various ways and forms. We are hopeful that this summit will bring Imo State government to open space for idea input from the citizens and civil society.”
