The lawmaker representing Ojo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Obasa has urged Nigerian Students to be of proper conduct in their day to day activities.

At a program organized by the National Union of Lagos State Students, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education with the theme “Effects of Drug Abuse and Immoral dressing on Campus” .

The lawmaker, who was represented by his legislative aide on special duties, Mr Lukman Adegbero spurred the students to remain focus and shun all forms of social vices.

” Engaging in social vices doesn’t add value to one’s life, it is an act that retards the brighter future possess in a being. As a youth, everyone dreams to be great. The greatness in you depends on how you live your life”

Hon. Obasa also appealed to them to accept the responsibility of finding a panacea to the generality of problem facing the nation.

The lawmaker told the gathering that the country is in need of intellectuals who possess the capacity of transforming the nation with great ideas.

“Human resources is the key to open the door of opportunities for a great nation. Exploration of mineral resources and diversification of the economy won’t be achievable if the government doesn’t invest in education”
