THE Ijaw People Congress, IPC, has dissociated Chief Boro Opudu, Chairman, Delta Waterway and Land Security Committee; Frank Omare, Director-General, Special Programme, Delta State and Chief Johnny Aribogha from the ongoing communal war between Aladja (an Urhobo town in Udu Local Government Area) and Ogbe-Ijoh (an Ijaw town in Warri South-West), saying they are not the sponsors of the communal war.

Former defunct Green Eagles Assistant Coach, Tunde Disu, has urged the Federal Government to immortalise the late Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi because of his achievements for the country.
Disu said Wednesday in Lagos that Keshi’s achievement was legendary in the annals of Nigerian football.
Jigawa govt to distribute uniforms, sandals, bags worth N24m to nomadic pupils
The Jigawa Government said it had concluded arrangements to buy and distribute school uniforms, sandals and bags worth N24 million to pupils of the 299 nomadic schools across the state. Tribunal dismisses LP’s petition against Gov. Bello
The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal for Kogi sitting in Abuja on Wednesday dismissed the petition filed by the Labour Party for failing to substantiate its claims. Justice Halima Muhammad, the tribunal Chairman in a two-hour judgment, dismissed the petition, saying that it lacked merit.
