The Managing Director, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Engineer Saleh Dunuma has appraised the annual Inter-Directorate Unity Cup organised by FAAN and said it has fostered unity and friendship among staff of the various directorates in the organisation.

Speaking at the final of this year’s Inter-Directorate Unity Cup competition in Ikeja last weekend, Dunuma, who was represented by a director in the agency said the competition has helped the staff not only to “relax but to also recreate, energise and keep them mentally alert.”

The Managing Director’s Directorate won the coveted trophy after beating the Directorate of Airport Operations 2-1 in an exciting final. Apart from the giant trophy, the winners got N500,000, while the runners up got N300,000 and the third placed teams earned N200,000 for their efforts.

The competition, which is in its second edition is sponsored by Sulah Bureau De Change.
