The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi, says although Nigeria is blessed with huge gold deposits, it is yet to harness the commodity. Fayemi, who made this known at the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Abuja, said the commodity could be found in abundance in some Western and Northern states of the federation.

“Just recently, the social media wrote that I and the Minister of Transportation, who are friends, and whom I have known for many years, are quarrelling. “That the government of Buhari is about to come down because Amaechi and I are quarrelling; this is really absurd and I don’t think this is the way to go forward.”
