Mother of hip hop legend, Tupac dies at 69

Afeni Shakur Davis, the activist mother of slain rap legend Tupac Shakur, has died at the age of 69. She was the subject of his iconic “Dear Mama” song and controlled his estate. Marin County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters responded to Shakur’s home in Sausalito, California Monday night after she suffered a possible heart attack, the sheriff said. She was taken to a local hospital and died just before 10:30 p.m on Tuesday.

Shop attendant in court over alleged theft of 2 laptops

A shop attendant, George Adeyemi, 31, was on Thursday docked at a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing two laptops valued at N140,000. The accused whose address is unknown is facing a count charge of stealing.
The Prosecutor, Insp. Innocent Uko, told the court that the accused committed the offence on April 20, at a shopping complex located at Ajara area in Badagry.
