Karim Benzema shrugged off a knee injury to join Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale up front as Real Madrid seek to overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit against Wolfsburg to reach the Champions League semi-finals on Tuesday.

Benzema missed Saturday’s 4-0 rout over Eibar after limping off as Real crashed to a shock defeat in Germany last week, but returns as coach Zinedine Zidane makes just one change from the first leg with Dani Carvajal replacing Danilo at right-back.

Wolfsburg are unchanged from their best display of an otherwise disappointing season six days ago as former Chelsea forward Andre Schuerrle is supported by fellow German international Julian Draxler with Dieter Hecking’s side looking for the vital away goal that would leave Real needing four.
