ABUJA—United States government said, yesterday, that it provided Nigeria every information and intelligence needed to rescue the over 200 girls abducted from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State, in April 14, 2014.

This was even as the Federal Government reiterated its commitment to find the girls, saying it remained a priority.

The U.S government spoke through its Perma-nent Representative to the United Nations, Samantha Jane Power.

After a private meeting with President Muha-mmadu Buhari, who was on a tour of the troubled spots in the North-East of Nigeria, Cameroon and Chad, Power told newsmen that the US would not rest until the girls were rescued.
