Ogun State governor,  Senator Ibikunle Amosun has said his performance would boost the chances of  the All Progressives Congress  in the state after expiration of his tenure in 2019 .

Amosun stated this  in Ijebu-Ode during   an empowerment programme organised by a member  of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Odogbolu, Ijebu-Ode and Ijebu-North East Federal Constituency, Kehinde Odeneye.

The governor  who was represented by his deputy Yetunde Onanuga said the party would continue to empower the people of the state especially the  less privileged with a view to making lives comfortable for them.

No fewer than 840 persons comprising youths and artisans in his constituency were empowered.

Amosun appealed  to those who could not be captured in the scheme to be patient saying “we will surely engage everyone and fulfil our election promises.”

“We know how difficult it is to raise capital for business, so what the honourable is doing today is in line with our promise to empower our people and alleviate poverty.
