Koko—Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr. Francis Maku-Eyituoyor, has appealed to the acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, to ensure resumption of work on the Koko-Ogheye road project abandoned a few years ago.

He said the economic and socio-cultural importance of the road to the council, the state and the nation cannot be overemphasized.

“There was great jubilation when NDDC started the road project some years ago. The people are sad today that after a few kilometres, the construction work stopped,” he said.
