ABUJA—Labour Party, LP, yesterday, raised alarm over alleged frosty relationship between the executive, legislature and judiciary, which it said was threatening political stability in the country.
The party warned that the trend if not checked would spell doom for the nation’s democracy because it was not allowing a deeper analysis on the workings of the different branches of government.
National Chairman of LP, Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, who made the remark at an interactive session with newsmen in Abuja, noted that a situation where the Senate would pass a resolution and a minister would refuse to honour it called for serious concern.
Abdulsalam, who criticised the administrative style of President Muhammadu Buhari, said, “Everything seems to be about corruption with no credible alternative for transformation projected.”
