A cleric, Pastor Amanze George of God’s Own Covenant Mission for All Nations, Okota, Lagos has asked Nigerians, faced with current economic hardship, to be patient with the Muhammadu Buhari administration, reports ETOP EKANEM.

Pastor George who spoke during the church’s seventh anniversary, with the theme, “Success without sweat,” said a lot of changes are currently going on in the country, adding: “What is happening now may be effect of where we are coming from. With time we will adapt to the changes that are ongoing in the country.”

On the current anti-graft war by the APC-led government, the cleric advised Buhari to do it with the fear of God, saying it should be all-embracing.

”The anti-graft war should not be selective, it should embrace all no matter the political affiliation. If it’s selective, that is when it is bad,” he counselled.

On the anniversary celebration, he said: “God has been very faithful to us. For the past seven years we have dedicated over 30 children and empowered many members in different trades.”

Continuing, Pastor George said, “we are going to experience more explosion, expansion. The church would move to a higher level, more financial empowerment for members, more work, dedication and commitment for the Kingdom of God.”

In his sermon, Bishop Tom Samson of Christ Royal Family, Ikeja, who was the guest speaker, spoke on the theme, “Success without sweat,” saying “success is not on the platform of sweat. One can achieve success without sweating. When mercy, grace and favour are at work upon your life, then you can attain success without sweat.”

He enumerated conditions to attain success without sweat to include that you must be a child of God to have mercy, grace and favour. One must also invest in the kingdom of God.
