THE Coalition of Civil Society Groups in Nigeria has risen in defence of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele over threats by a phony group with ties to the predominantly Yoruba speaking southwest, to picket the Governor on CBN’s policies.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has condemned calls for the sacking of the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, describing those behind the calls as “Facebook manipulators and palm wine drinkers.”
