The first half of the Egypt vs Nigeria 2017 AFCON qualifier match at the Borg El Arab stadium, has ended in a barren draw.
The winner of the match is expected to make it to Gabon for the championship proper.
Hector Cuper’s men struggled to a 1-1 draw in Kaduna on Friday, with Nigeria enjoying the majority of the possession.

Daniel Akpeyi replaces injured Carl Ikeme in goal for Nigeria. Kelechi Iheanacho and Simon Moses drops to the bench for the visitors, with Aminu Umar making up the attacking partnership for the Super Eagles. Shehu Abdullahi retains his place in the starting line-up, while Alex Iwobi is among the substitutes if required by coach Siasia.
Ramadan Sobhy is preferred to Ahmed Hassan in the attack for the hosts, while Ahmed Hegazy’s experience is valued at the heart of the defence against the Super Eagles. Ibrahim Salah will sit in midfield, with Elneny and Abdallah El-Said flanking him.
