The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is making a headway in its bid to pin down all those who helped themselves to the $2.1 billion cash in the office of the National Security Adviser meant for the procurement of arms.
The commission boasted last night that it had recovered the sum of $2.33 million cash from one of the suspects its operatives had been interrogating over the past weeks.
The commission did not, however, release the name of the suspect but a source said that the recovery was made possible, following several interactions with the recipient of the arms cash from the ONSA.
