The General Overseer of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries, a.k.a Liberation City, Dr. Chris Okafor, has urged Nigerians to pray against an epidemic of biblical proportion.

Speaking  yesterday at his office, Okafor said he had last year warned of a new sexually transmitted disease that would be greater than the dreaded HIV/AIDS.

He said: “God is not happy with mankind. The sins today are so much that it is the devil that is now in the control seat. The world needs to pray harder to avert what is about to happened.

“When the Zika virus came, I told my people it is here. Today, medics have confirmed sexually transmitted Zika virus case in the United States.’

“This is the beginning of a global crisis and we need to pray to avert what is about to happen.

“This new sexually transmitted disease, deadlier than HIV has been released from the kingdom of darkness to destroy humans and it is only a matter of time before it gets to biblical proportion.

“We need God at this crucial point in our lives. Just as we prayed against Ebola, we also need to pray against this virus.”
