Ambode swears in new KAI Marshal

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, yesterday swore in Mr. Amusat Bola Jimoh, as the new Kick Against Indiscipline, KAI, Marshal General of the state. He succeeds Captain Danjuma Maigari (retd).

Jimoh, a retired Chief Superintendent of Police, resumed duty after the swearing-in ceremony by the Commissioner for the Environment Dr. Babatunde Adejare, on behalf of the governor.

Before this appointment Jimoh,  worked in various capacities in Nigeria Police before his retirement. He has served as the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, Alausa and Anthony police stations. Jimoh would be the fourth KAI Marshal General.

 

He has BSC in peace and conflict resolution from NOUN. He also has advance diploma certificate in security from university of Lagos. Also three assistant KAI Marshals General were appointed, with Mr. Dapo Bode Thomas has been appointed as the assistant KAI Marshal General for Lagos Central Senatorial District.

Mr. Jacob Asogba is now the assistant KAI Marshal General in charge of Lagos East Senatorial District, while Mr. Abdul Salam Kabir is the Assistant KAI Marshal General in charge of Lagos West Senatorial District. Their appointments were with immediate effect
