Students, a quarterly resource for students at all levels, has been launched with the first volume spanning January to March 2016.
The 19 paged magazine features guides on harnessing and equitable use of intelligence, understanding what is read, knowing if one is creative, making money as a student, good grammar, goal setting for the academic year, preparation the night before exams, being a trendy book worm, hygiene, proper diet for the brain, among other issues.
In his message, the Editor, Mr. Henry Agbobire, said “students who genuinely want to be outstanding in their academic pursuit require profound knowledge and direction on how to study and pass exams. They require wisdom and understanding to build enduring relationships with teachers, parents and with other students.
“They also need strength and vision to take full control of their actions, set achievable goals. It is for this reason Students is published. It supports the goal of true education which, according to Aristotle, ‘all improvement in society begins with the education of the young’.
“It has all the ingredients a student truly requires to translate academic excellence into great leadership and success in the real world. It is essentially a compendium of life skills and wisdom tips that are useful to all students.”
