Unit Holders of Zenith’s Ethical, Income and Equity Fund have unanimously endorsed the proposed payment of dividends by the Board of Directors of the fund manager for the financial year ended December 31, 2013. The Board had recommended a dividend of 34 kobo per unit holding for the financial year 2013 as non was declared for the financial year ended December 31, 2014.

The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) ‘s Director General, SON, Dr. Joseph Odumodu, says the fight against sub-standard and fake products in the country will be tackled with the creation of a special high court in that it will try importers engaged in such activities. He said though the country has lots of laws meant to deal with those who bring in fake and sub-standard products, he said a special court will be of great help in the fight against fake products in the country.

The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, ASCSN, has said that if the price template of petrol is reviewed downward to reflect global oil price reduction, then petrol may not be up to N70 per litter in Nigeria. Consequently, the commission has implored Nigerians to report to it, cases of maltreatment or negligence by both private and public health care centres in the country.
