JUSUN STRIKE: Anambra CJ moves to decongest Police cells

Following the strike by the Judicial staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, that has lasted for three months so far, the Chief Judge of Anambra State, Justice Peter Umeadi has set up a mobile court to help decongest the police cells now filled with suspects.

Chemical explosion sets 3 buildings ablaze

A chemical depot located at Nkpor junction in Idemili North Local Government area of Anambra State, yesterday evening set three buildings: a five-storey, three-storey and another ablaze when the chemicals stored in drums in the depot caught fire and exploded.
