Olorogun Otega Emerhor, the Delta State APC governorship candidate in the 2015 general elections has said the death of Prince Audu Abubakar shocked the APC family and the entire country.
Emerhor, in a condolence message released by his Director of Political Communication, Dr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, said, “the exit of Audu from the political scene at this crucial junction after substantially winning the governorship election is lamentable”.
He described late Audu as a political tactician and a grassroots mobiliser who positively affected the lives of Kogi indigenes.
He urged the people of Kogi not to despair, but to accept the will of God and continue to demonstrate their inestimable love for Abubakar, even in death, by retaining their support for the APC.
He prayed God to grant the deceased’s family and people of the state the fortitude to bear the loss.
