Awka—The Anambra State chairman of the  Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Ken Emeakayi has described as untrue a statement credited to  the party’s governorship candidate in the 2013 election, Chief Tony Nwoye that former Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme  endorsed his group’s defection to All Progres sives Congress, APC.

Emeakayi, who spoke in a telephone interview in Awka, said: “What   the claim simply means is that Ekwueme now has sympathy for the APC. This is simply super name-dropping.”
