Jos—The federal government has been urged to establish the “Victim Support Scheme” in Plateau State to rehabilitate the many decimated communities affected by crises within the state in the last two decades.

A Civil Right group, Plateau Intelligentsia, PI, working to bring an end to the persistent killings in the State made the appeals reiterating in a statement in Jos at the weekend, that “the senseless killings in the state, requires a similar approach the government was giving to the situation in the North East.”

The group also advocated the moving of the Operational Headquarters of Operation Safe Haven, Op SH, to the epicentre of the crises in Riyom and Barkin Ladi Councils to quell the incessant attacks once for all.
