LAGOS—Two security guards, Gabriel Vincent, 26, and Anthony Oguche, 25, have been charged before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court in Lagos, for allegedly gang-raping a15-year-old girl.

The accused persons, who reside at Akowonjo area of Lagos, were said to have lured the teenage girl into their room at their security post and held her hostage for several hours.

According to the charge, the duo is facing a three-count charge of conspiracy, abduction and rape.

However, when the charge was read to the accused persons before the Magistrate, Mrs. Bola Osunsanmi, they pleaded not guilty.

Magistrate Osunsanmi granted the accused persons bail of N500,000 each and directed them to produce two responsible sureties in like sum.

The matter was adjourned to October 26 for further hearing.
