ABEOKUTA—The campaign Organisation of Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Prince Gboyega Isiaka has raised the alarm that some people believed to be members of All Progressives Congress, APC, have allegedly begun thumb printing of ballot papers in the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Abeokuta.

The organisation alleged that the party and its governorship candidate, Governor Ibikunle Amosun have perfected plans to tamper with the ballot papers following the tribunal order for the inspection of electoral materials used for April 11,2015 election.

A statement issued yesterday  by the spokesperson of the organisation, Comrade Ifekayode Akinbode warned Governor Ibikunle Amosun and his party against tampering with the documents or ready to face the consequence.

Akinbode disclosed that since Thursday when the election petition tribunal in Abeokuta granted Isiaka’s application to inspect all electoral materials, some suspected APC members had been hovering around the INEC office with the aim of tampering with the documents.

Akinbode, who said the alarm became imperative because of some suspected INEC staff that collude with the APC to compromise the election are still in the electoral body’s pay roll, while they are working as APC’s agents to tamper with the electoral materials.’’
