THE General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on Nigerians to continually praise and appreciate the grace of God upon the country, stressing that for people to receive total deliverance from a myriad of challenges they must imbibe the spirit of worship and appreciation.

Adeboye spoke through one of his Special Assistants in charge of United Kingdom, Pastor Agu Irukwu at the church monthly thanksgiving service held at the national headquarters, Throne of Grace Parish in Ebute-Meta, Lagos.

Drawing inspiration from the scripture on the importance of praise, the cleric said it was paramount to praise God for His mercy, provision, divine protection, for wonder of His greatness, healing, sustenance and for making the impossible possible.

He further urged the congregation to shun murmuring and complaining but instead, continue to praise God for what he has done before as well as what He will yet do.

His words: “Man’s knowledge cannot comprehend the wonderful work of God. He is the one that has the power to bring forth water out of the rock, He is the great provider. God has done lots of things in our lives that require us to praise His name and while still praising Him, He will do more.”

On the church convention, Assistant Pastor in Charge of Province (Corporate Social Responsibility) for Lagos Province 1, Pastor Samuel Olaniyan urged participants to be expectant, put all their hope in God who is all sufficient and take all teachings at the convention with all seriousness, adding that the convention will be a lifetime experience for the worshippers.

According to him, the annual convention is where all sons and daughters of the church including the ministers all over the world gather to thank God for all He has done for the church during the cause of the year.

“It is also a time of revival for the church, teaching, learning the word of God, have fellowship with our maker. It is also a period where our father in the Lord will ordain deacons, deaconesses, assistant pastors and pastors,” he explained.

According to him, there will be shuttle buses from the current arena to the new arena.
