Still riding on the excitement of the July edition of ‘The Comedy Show With Mr Patrick,’ Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) nominee, Mr. Patrick, is presently basking in the euphoric glow of the level of sustained attention and endorsement he has received from individuals, brands and stakeholders for his monthly show and comedy series under the banner, ‘Adventures of Mr Patrick.’

Shortly after his AMVCA nomination for ‘Comedy Writer of the Year’ for the movie, ‘The Place,’ Mr. Patrick (known as Kunle Thomas in other circles) followed up with a 5-minute comedy TV drama series broadly titled ‘Adventures of Mr. Patrick,’ which now has two episodes online titled ‘Pop Champagne’ and ‘Work Out Plan.’

Still riding high on the waves of how far he has come, Mr. Patrick recently secured a nod from ‘Silverbird Cinemas’ and ‘Silverbird Galleria’ towards having a monthly comedy show inside the cinema for customer and select VIPs. Adventures of Mr. Patrick’ is close to the foreign drama series of Michael Crawford’s, ‘Some Mothers Do Have Them’, only that it isn’t a full drama series.

It is a ‘FlatStick’ comedy, which is a kind of comedy with less talk and it is a Pan-African show where Mr. Patrick connects with audience through comedy. The monthly comedy titled ‘The Comedy Show with Mr Patrick,’ will see Mr. Patrick entertain guests in the over 200 capacity cinema hall for over one hour; dishing out fresh and truly funny jokes. Guests at the show will be customers of the cinema and select VIP guests.

The zealous comedian who was recently announced as the Ambassador for ‘Pryce Check’ has appeared in quite a number of stand-up shows including ‘Nite of Thousand Laughs’, ‘Africa Kings of Comedy,’ ‘AY Live,’ ‘BasketMouth Uncensored,’ and a host of others. He has also performed at cooperate events and government functions both home and aboard, which has added to his rising profile.
