Sharks swim in infested waters

Sharks began the season like a house on fire and have since been like that, earning the record of being the unenviable team in the Nigerian top flight, no thanks to their last position on the table.

With just 12 points from 16 matches, Sharks are really swimming in trouble waters and heading for relegation, if the tide continues to push them in the direction that they have been swimming in the last four months.

It is certainly so bad for the team from the much touted  Treasure Base of the country, Rivers State, with all the money that the state generates internally and gets from the federation account, courtesy of the oil and gas contributions to the commonwealth.

Sharks are away at Kwara United tomorrow, where the general belief is that their fate has already been sealed as they continue swimming in infested waters, with no route of escape open to them.
