Reigning Nollywood queen, Miss Gwendolyn Okutele, is gradually warming herself into the hearts of many Deltans especially, the monarch of Okpe kingdom in Delta State, HRM Orhue 1 , the Orodje of Okpe kingdom, Major-General(rted) Felix Mujakperuo, as she received a royal blessing from the highly respected monarch.

Miss Okutele who used the opportunity to thank the royal father for the supportive role he played during her reign as the Face of Niger Delta before emerging Miss Nollywood, also presented the King with a Certificate of appreciation for all his support. The excited queen said, ‘’ I am so grateful for what is happening here today,.

In my own capacity as the queen, I have used my good office to carry out enormous responsibilities of regularly assisting and mentoring the youths of Okpe kingdom of Delta state in particular and Nigerian in general as most of them see me as their role model. I will also want to use this opportunity to invite the king to be grand patron of my NGO,’’. She said.

In his remarks, the monarch advised that she should continue to aim higher and higher in her aspirations in life. “Your commitment to helping the sons and daughters of Okpe kingdom is noticed and highly appreciated. Please take note that you are no longer who you were and you should be very careful in all you do going forward and avoid things that will bring shame and disgrace to the Okpe kingdom,” the monarch advised.
