A new discount card, Jara ID, which is set to launch on August 1, 2015 has said that users will be entitled to up to 63% discounts on a wide range of purchases across the country.
Co-founder of Jara, Mr. AbdulAzeez Akingbola in a press release to Vanguard Hi-Tech recently said that the company’s two offerings, Jara Plus and the Jara Student Card appeal to the upwardly mobile class and over 18 million Nigerian students respectively. His words: “Membership costs N5,000 for Jara plus and N3,500 for the Jara Student card.
Users can sign up online at www.yourjara.com/join. The general public is also welcome to signup to our ambassadorship programme where we share a 50% commission for invites or subsequent signups made.”
Continuing, he said: “We saw a need to foster stronger relationships between brands & customers and we thought why not give consumers just a little JARA to win them over. Jara discount card not only saves customers money, but helps them make money as well.”
Jara is currently in partnership with about fifty brands in Lagos including Konga.com, Ember Creek, Melting Moments, Bheerhugz, Giddimint.com, Adam & Eve, Soul lounge among others. Continuing, he said: “Jara will also give users a Friendship bonus of about N2,400, anytime they successfully invite a friend to join Jara and up to N1,000 Jara bonus every time those invited friends go ahead to invite others.”
