As part of effort to imbibe reading culture among young Nigerians, a Non-Governmental International Organisation known as Gracelink Foundation, has donated educational materials to Federal government-owned secondary school, FGC, Kwali in Kwali area council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The founder of Gracelink Foundation, Chijoke Ekweghariri said the donation was inspired by the high spirit to make the students know and understand geography in honour of his late father Chief Samuel Ekweghariri, who was the first geography teacher of the school.
The foundation, he said, was donating the materials to the school to support Federal Government in providing facilities that will aid learning and ensure safety of the pupils.
The foundation focuses on children and youth to attain full humanity, through educational empowerment, workshops and various skill acquisition programmes targeted at giving them a balanced perspective of the world.
Educational materials such as as mathematics textbooks, geography textbooks, mathematical sets, Biro ,ball pens, among others, were donated after the laying of foundation of geography garden for the school.
