Fanta Jeff (FJ)After a long absence from the music industry, Prince Jeff Ejike Chukwuanuka popularly known as FJ the King, is back again. The Enugu State-born crooner recently dropped his long-awaited single, “Oh my lover.”
FJ, also the crown prince of his Enuogwu kingdom, featured dance hall star, Timaya, in the new hip life single currently ruling airwaves and topping music chats amid reviews.
In a chat with Daylight.ng, the entertainer (Agugbaola 1) who doubles as the head honcho of Attitude Unit Group Worldwide Limited, said the new single is for his teeming fans who have stood by him these years and equally believed in him musically.
“Aside being a musician, I’m also a pioneer Nollywood star and a God fearing philanthropist that is well known for my reaching out to the needy.
“Oh my lover”, is a special dedication to my fans across globe. It is a special song for all those that are truly in love and cherish the true meaning of love.” On how he came about the name FJ, the international business man said: “FJ the King” is a stage name, coined from Fanta Jeff which was given to me after the Fanta advert I did way back in 1991.
I was managed then by the late Sam loco Efe as a Nollywood actor. I also played the role of Nkem Owoh’s son in one of his hit movies, ’Ikuku’. After that movie, I dropped two hot singles back to back, “Big Boys Outing and Jigida” in same 1991, which were all huge successes,” he added.
