Plateau governor swears in SSG, Chief of Staff

Jos – Plateau state governor, Simon Lalong has sworn in the Secretary to the State Government, SSG and the Chief of Staff, Government House, Mr. John Dafa’an who are the first set of appointees in the new administration.

Lalong in his speech at the event held at Government House, Rayfield said the appointees were carefully chosen to bring value to the administration and charged the appointees to live up to expectation.

The governor also at the event swore in the elected Chairman of Langtang North local government area, Chief Dan Dul in obedience to the rule of law and appealed to the people of the state to rally round his government.

According to him, “I count it a thing of joy to preside over this event, the ceremony is a milestone in the process of setting up a responsive administration committed to making a difference in the state.

“We have a big task ahead of us in ensuring that we put smiles on the faces of our people and the responsibility of this public trust must be carried out with diligence and vigilance to ensure that it is not abused.”

The governor however reminded the people that his administration is on a rescue mission hence all must stay focused on issues that will proffer solutions to the myriad of problems facing the state.
