ABUJA—THREE Senators-elect and 10 House of Representatives’ members-elect from Delta State were among those inaugurated and sworn into office last  Tuesday in Abuja.

The event held at the National Assembly complex, Abuja, witnessed the oath of office taking of Senators Peter Nwaboshi, Delta North, James Manager, Delta South and Ighoyota Amori, Delta Central.

Also inaugurated were House of Representatives members for the federal constituencies in the state; Victor Nwokolo, Ika federal constituency, Onyemaechi Mrakpor,  Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency and Hon. Ossai N. Ossai of the Ndokwa Ukwuani federal constituency.

Speaking at a reception in their honour in Abuja, Victor Nwokolo representing Ika federal constituency commended the large turnout of Deltans especially his supporters and assured of more effective representation of the people.

Nwokolo also reminded his people and indeed Deltans of the need to continue to support him and the administration of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa to enable the governor take the state to the next level.
