3 docked over alleged murder attempt, others

Lagos—The police in Lagos yesterday arraigned three persons before an Apapa Magistrate’s Court for attempted murder, stealing and malicious damage.

The suspects include Bukar Sallah 28; Mohammed Jubril, 28; and Ali Baba, 18, all of no fixed address.

Police prosecutor, Supol Olu Ojaokomo, told the court that the defendants committed the offence on June 14, 2015, at Sifax Group, Ijora, Lagos.

He also said the defendants unlawfully attempted to kill one Ibrahim Lasisi by using a knife to cut his throat.

The prosecutor also said the defendants did unlawfully damage to an Iveco Truck with number plate BDG 76 XC, caterpillar roller, back screen of  heavy duty fork lift, shading window, glasses of the security post and unlawfully stole N120, 000, shoes, phone, drivers licence and identity card, all property of Sifax Group, Ijora, Lagos.
