ABEOKUTA—The Olowo of Owo in Yewa South local government,area of Ogun state,  Oba  Patrick Fasinu has refuted the allegation that he was planning to assassinate a princes from another ruling house. The monarch was  accused of planning to execute Prince Segun Rufai, the prince of late Oba Babatunde Alao who was one for the founding fathers of the Owo community in the state.

But, the monarch in his reaction at a reconciliatory meeting held at Owo community High School in Oke-Odan swore by the throne that he never had such intention. The meeting  which was  held at the instance of some  eminent personalities of the community was used to settle the rift between the monarch and the prince. Prince Rufai in his allegation against the monarch, had  said,  he received several threat phone calls , warning him about the alleged plans to orchestrate the monarch’s removal.
