Owerri—Immunization has been described as a life saving and immune boosting action that should have the support of all.
The Programmes Manager of Geodora Samaritans, Mr. Nwamadi Richard, stated this during an awareness campaign carried out at Saints Phillip and James Catholic Parish, Egbu, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State.
“There are gaps between immunization access, coverage and uptake around us. Women of child-bearing age, nursing mothers and everyone, should be stakeholders in the current battle to eradicate child killer diseases”, Richard reasoned.
He noted that distance, terrain or economic reasons should not affect access to immunization.
