Ex-winner of the Next Movie Star reality TV show, Tamara Eteimo is taking her craft to the next level, as turns a film producer. The rising actress has just completed work on her latest flick titled “Unblissful” which she co-produced with Oby Olebara-Uzoukwu.
Written by Gbenga Adesanya and directed by fast-rising Nollywood director, Ike Nnaebue, the movie is a romantic thriller depicting the lives and sarcastic travails of two frustrated adults, Raymond Citizen, an insurance marketer, and Jeffa Adolo, a beautiful but out-of-job journalist, both desiring to break out of jinx which surround their personal and professional lives.
The movie starred the likes of Rachel Oniga, Funsho Adeolu and Ghanaian Ron Solomon Maxwell. Interestingly, while on location in Lagos, BBC crew led by Margaret stormed the set of Unblissful to explore the artistic splendor of Nollywood Reloaded, a production company which is behind the production of “Unblissful.”
In the past six month, the outfit has shot about 11 movies including Tamara’s three productions. Other movies include Nne, Cassanova, Pure Chances, Awoyaju, The Waiter, Dancehood, Kan ni wo ni, Afara Oyin and Omo Inu Igo.
The suspense, intrigued-filled romantic thriller centers on Jeffa played by Tamara who soon realises that Raymond, Seun Akindele is a disaster waiting to happen – a situation she has never found herself before
