Mr. Johnson Erijo, winner of Isoko South Constituency seat, on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, declared that the electorate were the real winner, while thanking God for the victory.

Erijo said he would ensure that the mandate given him by the electorate was justified through bringing governance close to the people by way of democracy dividends.

Also, Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area, Sir Malik Ikpokpo, commended Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the electorate for the relatively peaceful general elections, adding that anyone who feels he or she has a case, should abide by the law in seeking redress.

Dr. Omaseyi Osafile, Returning Officer for Isoko South constituency, said Ogbo Oghale of Labour Party got 229 votes; Johnson Erijo of PDP, 12,930 votes; Oseba Emaviwe, SDP, 55 votes; Agba Daniel, UPN, 0 vote, and Ferguson Onwo, APC, 9,943.
