WARRI- THE Centre for the Vulnerable and Underprivileged, CENTREP, Warri, Delta State, has differed with the Niger-Delta People Salvation Front/Niger Delta People Volunteer Force, NDPSF/NDPVF, led by Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, on their claim that the victory of President-elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd) in the presidential election was a conspiracy by the North and South West against the Niger-Delta, South East and Middle Belt geo-political Regions.

CENTREP in a statement by executive director, Mr. Oghenejabor Ikimi, said, “We beg to differ as the said statement/claim is an unfair assessment of the facts on ground.”

According to the group, “We are not oblivious of the fact that in the 2011 Presidential election which was superintended by Prof. Attahiru Jega as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, with both President Goodluck Jonathan and General Muhammadu Buhari as contestants, President Goodluck Jonathan won massively in the North West, North East, North Central and South West geo-political Regions.”
