Agbor community in  Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State has endorsed the governorship aspiration of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa.

A statement by the President-General, Gen. Nick Agbogun (retd), said the Agbor Community Organization subscribes wholly to the principle of power shift and rotation in Delta State in addition to the towering profile of the PDP candidate and, therefore, implored voters to queue behind Okowa, for the governorship election.

He said: “Our choice of representatives should be informed by antecedents of selfless service to the community and council and promotion of good governance characterized by prosperity for all, rather than prosperity for only the representatives and their acolytes.

“As a community that upholds merit and effective grassroots representation, the electorate should sift the grains from the chaff, just as the lagging candidates have been advised to let our community be represented by our best, irrespective of party affiliations.

“The political parties and their supporters should shun violence and all anti-democratic tendencies.”
