Lagos—Police yesterday charged a 27-year-old sales representative, Biola David, before a Tinubu Magistrate’s Court sitting in Lagos Island for allegedly stealing money and goods worth N286,500 from his employer.
The defendant is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing preferred against him by the police.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Daniel Ighodalo, told the court that the defendant, who was a sales representative, stole N244,500 cash and three Michael Kors wrist watches valued at N42,000, property of his employer, one Oluwatoyin Kowobari.
However, the defendant denied the charge brought against him.
Magistrate O. M. Ajayi admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N50,000, with two responsible sureties in like sum and adjourned to March 2, for mention.
