PORT HARCOURT— Governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Dr Dakuku Peterside, has dismissed as untrue allegations in some quarters that there were several abandoned projects of Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s administration in the state.

Peterside, who spoke in Bodo City, Gokhana Local Government Area, said work was still ongoing in all uncompleted projects initiated by Governor Amaechi.

According to him, the state government had not abandoned any project it started, adding that if elected, he will sustain the success of the governor.

He appealed to the people to vote for General Muhamadu Buhari (rtd), assuring that he will complete the Trans-Bodo-Bonny Road.

In a related development, Peterside enjoined the people of the state to ensure they elect God fearing leaders.

Speaking at a dinner organised by International Ministers Network, a non- denominational Christian group in Port Harcourt, he urged church leaders to guide their members to vote wisely.
