Baring any unforeseen circumstances, the 2015 Lagos State Federation Cup begins this weekend with the rookies matches holding at Agege Sports Stadium.
Draw for the competition held at the SWAN secretariat yesterday and the main competition would be involving 32 clubs.
Before the commencement of the competition proper, eight unseeded teams will vie for four spots in the main draw.
According to the draw, the defending champions, AS Racine will begin the defence of their title with a top of the bill clash against Bridge Boys FC on a yet to be announced date.
Chairman of Lagos FA, Seyi Akinwumi told a crowded press conference that winners of the competition in the male category will cart home a giant trophy and a cash prize of N750,000, while runners up will earn N250 for their effort.
The women champion will be given N300,000 and N200 for the runners up.
The final of the competition comes up on Easter Sunday, April 5.
